ANDEarchitettura is an architectural practice based in Milan and founded in Santiago de Chile in 2014 by Andrea Del Pedro Pera. Currently the practice focuses on the recovery and enhancement of the alpine rural architectural heritage.
“We believe that human beings and their necessities are the primary source of inspiration for the design of every space, internal as well as external, even more so than aesthetical or formal rules.”
Starting from this concept, the philosophy of ANDEarchitettura is to create a unique relationship between people, architecture and their physical context.

Born in Domodossola, Italy, Andrea studied in Milan, at the Faculty of Civil Architecture at the Polytechnic University, and in Athens, at the National Technical University.

Andrea moved to South America in 2013 and worked on several projects in Santiago de Chile.
Whilst in Chile, he also designed and constructed several houses in association with the architectural practice Matias Zegers Arquitectos.
In August 2014 he founded ANDEarchitettura in Santiago de Chile.
Today the practice is based in Italy where Andrea continues to expand his research in architecture and to refine his knowledge of materials and forms, focussing on the revaluation of traditional and vernacular architecture.
